JAMES SWANN.
James Swann, a resident of Wyandot county [OH] for over fifty years, died at his home, three miles east of Upper Sandusky [OH], Friday [14 JUN 1918] noon at 12 o'clock. He had been ailing with liver trouble and was seriously ill since last December.
Mr. Swann was born near Lucas, Richland county [OH], and would have been eightyeight years old July 19. His wife, nee Angeline Robison (sic), died three years ago. Five children, Miss Nettie, at home; F.M. (sic) and J.E. Swann (sic), Mrs. Albert Althouse and Mrs. W.J. Blaser, all east of town [Upper Sandusky, OH], survive.
The funeral will be held Sunday [16 JUN 1918] afternoon at 2 o'clock, at Salem Evangelical church, conducted by Rev. O.D. Wonder, with burial in the church cemetery.

LAST EARTHLY RITES.
Funeral services for James Swann were held Sunday [16 JUN 1918] afternoon at 2 o'clock, at Salem Evangelical church, east of town [Upper Sandusky, OH], conducted by the pastor, Rev. O.D. Wonder. Hymns were sung by a male quartet, L.A. Kuenzli, Roy Schoenberger, George Hadsell and Carson Disher. The pallbearers were two sons, Frank and J.E. Swann (sic); two sons-in-law, Albert Althouse and W.J. Blaser; a brother-in-law, M.L. Robinson, and a nephew, J.E. Baker, both of Lucas. Interment was made in the church cemetery.

Robinson, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Robinson and two children, of Mansfield [OH]; Miss Anna Hohl, Mrs. Lena Hohl, Miss Reta Hohl, Mrs. Nora Langley and daughter, and J.L. Lewis, of Lima [OH]; Miss Grace Swann and Mrs. Mary Bradford, of Columbus [OH].
